Pachyderm Recording Studio

Pachyderm Studio houses a spacious control room, large live room, granite room, and 2 isolation rooms.

The studio features an acclaimed live room sound and an array of vintage, analog, and state-of-the-art digital gear. The control room is equipped with stereo monitoring, utilizing Genelec 1030A speakers and a Neve 8068 console - the same console thought to have been used in Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland Studio.

Pachyderm is one of the most popular recording studios in the midwest. While providing an intimate recording atmosphere, the studio features a large live room, three isolated recording areas, and a granite room. All five recording rooms offer direct line-of-sight to the control room. Other studio amenities include the Bosendorfer Grand Piano, Hammond BV Organ, variety of guitars, basses, amps, drums, percussive instruments, refreshments from the kitchen, and wireless internet access.

The live room is exceptionally large. In fact, it can support a whole 30 member string ensemble!

Combining a long history of releasing great sounding records, state-of-the-art equipment, and a great working atmosphere, makes this a perfect place to record.

In addition to the recording studio, the secluded location, lodging capabilities and abundance of wildlife offers a true "getaway" experience.
